QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FARM
-
IS THE FLOWER FARM OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Only the Farm Store at the roadside is open to the public.
The farm itself is the Lindell family home, where we all live and work, thus is closed to the public.
All in-person floral consultations are by appointment.
Thank-you for understanding.
-
WHEN IS YOUR FARM STORE OPEN?
SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN:
Open daily for walk-in shopping during the Growing Season, April - October.
WINTER:
Our Farm Store (physical & online) is generally closed for the Winter Season, November - March; This allows our family time to rest, plan & be creative to offer something new & special each season!
-
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU?
Definitely via EMAIL to hello@LindellFlowerFarm.com
We generally read and respond to emails late at night, as all daylight hours are filled with tending the flowers. We also rarely carry our phones with us in the field due to dirt! If by chance we discover a live or in-person conversation is needed, we’ll certainly schedule something. Thanks for understanding!
-
CAN CUSTOMERS PICK THEIR OWN FLOWERS?
No, we’re not offering a u-pick option this year.
-
DO YOU SELL POTTED PLANTS / HANGING BASKETS, IN ADDITION TO CUT FLOWERS?
We generally sell only cut flowers and foliage, with the exception of potted bulbs such as Paperwhite and Amaryllis during the Winter Holidays.
-
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

QUESTIONS ABOUT EVENTS
-
DO YOU OFFER WEDDING AND EVENT SERVICES?
At this time, we are not offering wedding/event services; If local, sustainable florals are important to you, we recommend searching Slow Flowers to find a farmer-florist in your area.
-
DO YOU OFFER BULK FLOWERS FOR DIY?
For the 2025 season, we’ve decided to pause our Bulk DIY Flower Bucket offerings, in lieu of some other special offerings celebrating our 10th year in business.
-
DO YOU OFFER YOUR FARM AS A VENUE?
Although our property and forest is beautiful, we simply don’t have the infrastructure at this time.

QUESTIONS ABOUT PARTNERSHIPS
-
ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS?
Beginning in 2024, we discontinued offering Wholesale Flowers. We recommend contacting the CONNECTICUT FLOWER COLLECTIVE, where you’ll have the ability to purchase from over 20 local flower farms.
-
I’M A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER, MAY I PHOTOGRAPH YOUR FLORA & FAUNA?
Yes! CONTACT US a few weeks in advance, so we can set aside a quiet hour in the field for you. We require a usage fee and proper crediting of Lindell Flower Farm in any publications.
-
IS THE FLOWER FIELD AVAILABLE TO USE AS A BACKDROP TO ENGAGEMENT, MATERNITY, FAMILY PHOTO SESSIONS?
Unfortunately not, as much as folks envision a field full of flowers our farm is nothing of the sort! A working flower farm is in a state of continuous planting and harvesting and often has rows consisting of baby seedlings, post-harvest stems with no blooms and lots of weeds!
-
ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO DESIGN FLORALS FOR EDITORIALS / STYLED SHOOTS?
Possibly! CONTACT US as far in advance as possible so we can pencil you in around our commitments – We love creating artful, inspired designs and adore collaborating with like-minded vendors!
-
WILL LINDELL FLOWER FARM DONATE FLOWERS OR GIFT CERTIFICATES TO MY ORGANIZATION / EVENT?
Possibly! SEND US THE SPECIFICS; We love supporting our local community and donate as much as is possible each year.
-
DO YOU OFFER INTERNSHIPS OR HAVE ANY PAID POSITIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes. We generally plan 2 paid positions and one unpaid farming-centric [not design] internship position per season. Feel free to send us your resume and a short essay describing why you’d like to work and learn with us to jobs@LindellFlowerFarm.com
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
